Pipe Shelf-TV Stand w/ Hanging Planters
I wanted a media console or tv wall that looked more intentional and bespoke than than the floating TV stand trend. My goal was to create a big moment in the room that felt like a statement piece by leveraging most of the 9.5 foot ceiling height . What I came up with was a entertainment center that feels like a luxury Restoration Hardware inspired built-in. Like a piece of the room’s architecture with an industrial edge, balanced with a refined, minimal layout. The shelving unit uses five vertical black pipe columns that run through drilled holes in distressed wood planks. Four rows of shelves are supported by right-angle pipe fittings underneath. The free hanging planters and staggered heights contrast with the structured industrial form and add organic warmth while catching natural light near the window.
Faux Brick Accent Wall
I set out to remodel my master bedroom in the interior Industrial design style with a subtle rock music edge. First, I divided the project timeline/process into three phases: 1) faux brick accent wall, lighting, nightstands, & accent decor 2) ceiling fan relocation, canopy bed, rug, & framed artwork 3) suspended metal ceiling planters.
